Three years ago, I was working with an entrepreneur (Bob), whose business was growing significantly.   He was like a whirling dervish trying to keep up with all aspects of the business.  Bob found himself in what he called a “suicide squeeze”, which he described as running fast for the score, but being held back by the realities of the game.  It was a good analogy, because that’s exactly what was happening to Bob.  He was trying so hard to take his business to the next level, but in reality, his company wasn’t quite ready to score the next run.

Over the course of my career as an HR executive, I developed and utilized systems and processes that allowed me to effectively manage hiring, employee relations, pay and rewards, and many other important HR functions. I assumed there were similar resources available for Bob, but after researching I only found “free” content of dubious quality.  I knew that Bob would not stop very long to address these concerns himself. so I decided to build some tools that he could use “just in time”.  Although I didn’t realize it at the time, that is when HR Fast Packs were born.
